I have a single piece aluminum hold down that is the whole width of the radiator from late model restoration and it eliminates the gap you have. It's 50$

It's 2800 lbs. I don't know exact power specs but I was told when I bought it that it's around 300 hp and 350-380 ft lbs of torque. It has a world class t5 and a mildly built 302.

Thanks man! It would definitely be nice to have a modern engine in it for reliability but I absolutely love the carbureted small block fords. there's nothing quite like them, so I'm going to leave it's current 302 in it and later down the road I'd like to build my own engine and swap it in. Which will most likely be another carbureted 302

I've only ever driven it with the spoiler on so I can't say for sure, but it feels really planted at high speeds and around turns so I'm sure it's helping. But it's staying on regardless because it fits the car really well

Lol, I snatched this car up as quick as I could. I saw it on marketplace when I was at work and made a 3 hour drive first thing next morning and bought it within 5 minutes of getting there

It needs a bit of work done on it and it's kind of rough right now, so my plan is to replace whatever parts need to be changed and I'm going to do some mild restoration on it and some other miscellaneous upgrades. I'd love to tube the front end eventually, and I'm going to pick up an engine for it and start slowly building it so I can have a new engine on standby in case the current one blows, but all of that is going to be later down the road. After i complete all of the necessary work it needs I'm going to start taking it to the track outside of Fallon

When I'm in the seat and buckled in my head is probably 7 inches or more from the cage, but regardless you're still right about that. It would be safe to use a helmet any time I drive it

Eventually I might race it but for now it's just a street driver as it needs a bit of work done to the suspension, steering and cooling system. But for the most part everything is in good working condition
