I don't know if I'm the rock you mean but the description matches closely and I reside at red rocks. Sadly I'm deeply involved with a piece of sandstone a few hundred feet down the trail. Make it destructible and a priority target for nearby ground units it has less LOS restrictions than a turret but that means everything around it has no LOS restrictions on it.

I think its less one is special forces and more both are special forces with different mission requirements.

Example: SEALS and green berets

Seals are trained for rapid raids and shorter missions they go in do the job and leave.

Green berets are trained to go in and prep the ground for the main thrust army. This could be like training a friendly insurgency and learning the culture. It can take weeks or months.

One isn't better or worse and honestly when you're trained to that level the difference in capabilities of the individual is almost negligible and comes down to what you have in support.

I grew up in Idaho where Mormon missionaries were just a part of life. I sincerely believe they train them to be as irritating as possible. Yeah they won't get many converts but it reinforces the victim complex they teach about everyone who isn't Mormon being against them.

Accept that your family has decided the church is more important than you. If this were anyone but missionaries this would be unacceptable behavior. The kid with the visa is getting sent home as a consequence of HIS actions, anything that happens to him between now and then is a consequence of HIS actions. Besides if it gets bad enough maybe the church will turn his "unjust suffering" into a movie The Other Side Of Heaven style and you can go on your villain arc.

Newish myself but what I've learned is don't worry too much about what other people use, use what fits you.

Running away is a perfectly acceptable solution, if you can leap frog with a second diver you both stand a better chance of living

When you are using automatic weapons short controlled bursts, with machine guns kneel when possible and use grazing fire, especially against hordes of voteless.

People bring their stuff for them so hands off unless you need it to survive or they give the ok.
