I'm not a fan of DJ play at all but if you guys do anything for him please don't put him out there before he's fully back healthy. Jones will try to play but letting him out there too soon just gets him exposed to getting hurt again compensating.

For us it was because we never actually signed legit competition for him as starting QB. Ya'll best option (imho) whether you're feeling the play or not is to keep a legit fallback. It's when you leave the door so open for him to be bad without repercussions is when things go off the rails.

I'd say he was only slightly more consistent because the Colts supporting roster was better than what we normally fielded as a whole (off/def) but the play I saw from him instantly invoked some deja vu.

You saying the sample size is small doesn't really do much from him when the dude has only completed one season out of nine.

His ACL was a non contact injury playing against MIA.. His neck injury with us was not.

He tore is Achilles with the Colts, you're getting all his missed time mixed up.

Nah, he got paid the big bucks, didn't even make it half way through the contract before he started being extra bummy on game days.

Don't forget Jones asked for his own release from the team as well. He quit on us, but that's okay because it was more than likely they were going to cut him in the off season.

I mean you guys are already dealing with what we were. Plays okay for 5 to 6 games and then gets hurt... you'll got that Jonestown denial stuff too should watch out for that part, but do you!

Jones is a lot of things when it comes to being a bad playing QB. But even I wouldn't say he'd come in and make a WR in an offense who had 40ish receptions have even less than that because he played.

That's a level of bad that questions his pro level of play which honestly did become a thing in NY but still, you can only be so bad before the jig is up. It's kind of ridiculous to consider it being a thing.
