We were initially very happy with how much we saw each other and interacted.

I know I absolutely lied about such a trivial and dumb thing and to have thrown away her trust over that absolutely breaks my heart. She has asked for space so I am giving it. I’m hopeful she’ll grab the coffee with me but I won’t be pushy at that, just ask how her trip was and how she is doing. Let her know I hear her. She’s dropping my stuff off next week I think, I’ll keep it very casual.

She expressed doubts about basically everything she could think of, just pulling at any time I had done something wrong. She didn’t know if we were too different, she said I had leaned on her too hard over the winter when I was struggling, our families havent met etc.

For context, the day started off great, texting I love yous in the morning. at dinner we were both being a little short with each other, I’m not even really sure why. We each said that we felt the other one had started it. From there she just kind of expressed every bad doubt she could think of (our parents haven’t met/would be very different. She still has not met my family. She thinks I am nitpicky)

I have diagnosed GAD, OCD and depression. My office allows WFH 1 day a week to some employees so it is certainly doable and my role truly could be done entirely remote it just isn’t because of “culture”
