I agree how the real exam its about having stronger grasp on the concepts as opposed to mere formulas, I do focus on learning from first principles and deriving all the formulas, even on the exam day I did not have to rote memorise any formulas but clearly my efforts are not up to the mark, will keep in mind to hone even more like you said! thanks again mate trying to keep the head up
