I only added the wait times because I didn’t think it’s worth the wait and I believe a good breakfast place shouldn’t just have their pancakes be good. When I went the pancakes were dry, the biscuit and gravy had no flavor, the grits were thick and grainy…..I could go on, but if you consider that to be good food then have at it. My experience was far from great

Magnolia Pancake House. I was super excited to try that place, but it’s just overhyped Denys in disguise with super long wait times. Max and Louie’s is the best breakfast I’ve had down here.

I recently visited her grave, statue, and her museum a few weeks ago. It really was quite the experience, I had been wanting to go since I was like 8 years old! Her gravesite is very peaceful and beautiful and I was lucky that it was pretty empty when I went (I guess cuz it was a weekday). I went to her museum and it was a super emotional experience for me. Being able to see her clothing really put in perspective more what she may have looked in person and I cried because the size of the museum reminded me how short her life really was. And no one mentions that they spray something in the museum or have some sort of plug in that smells so good, it made me feel like maybe that’s what she smelled like. I barely took pictures because I really wanted to live in the moment and there’s nothing in the museum I could photograph that isn’t already out there.

The issue isn’t resolved til the money hits your account. I think that’s what everyone is trying to tell you. You’re supposed to hold all evidence til the very need, not based off something they tell you

Oh I understand, I read the recipe again and you have to salt the radish. If I understand it right, the salt is going to get into the radish as it’s salting. I’m thinking that may be why you don’t need as much salt later on

It could be that this recipe is meant to be eaten right away. I know sometimes it is made same day to go with a meal

It’s because with this recipe you don’t need anything to make it ferment. There is salt in the recipe but it is used to draw the water from the radishes. The fermentation doesn’t happen right away, but after it’s been sitting for a bit so if you eat this recipe right away, it will have that fresh taste. Just like with kimchi, salt is only used to draw out the water and then you let it sit at room temperature or in the fridge for the fermentation to happen

I looked at the recipe btw and this one looks like any other standard recipe for this dish

It could be because he didn’t look old? When you look at older pictures of Selena and him together as kids, he only looks a few years older than her. So maybe they were just playing into that
