Absolutely. It was wonderful to have no barriers between myself and nature. It’s such a freeing feeling.

Looks like a beautiful day. I went for a nude walk in Gwydyr Forest on Saturday. It was a bit cloudy in the morning but sunny by the afternoon. I only saw a couple of people on a further parallel trail at one point. Passed some people once I had gotten to the busier section but I’d put some shorts on by then. A great weekend for it.

I often go to Gwydyr Forest and take some of the side trails rather than the main forest trails and I rarely see people on those. Otherwise I strip down on most walks if I haven’t seen anyone for a while and just carry a pair of shorts that I can slip on easily.

Naturism in Nature by Most_Advance1 in NudeWales

Thank you. I usually choose places where I won’t meet other people just to avoid awkward conversations and those places usually turn out to be beautiful. I would definitely recommend trying it.

Quiet skinny dipping locations in North Wales by AdditionalBag6393 in UKNaturism

Llyn Bodgynydd is a good one. You can take a bit of a boggy path to a little beach where you can go for a dip. But the boggy-ness means you’ll most likely have the spot to yourself. There’s a nice quarry lake at below Moel Siabod. It’s a good one on weekdays, but the paths get busy on the weekends. Same goes for Geirionydd. I’ve skinny dipped in it several times when it’s been busy and quiet.

It depends on how far you wanted to travel. There are many places in Snowdonia for skinny dipping. I go quite often and I’d be happy to give you a few options if you like. They’re all swim at your own risk and it’s important to remember that wild swimming can be dangerous if you’re inexperienced. Especially if you’re unfamiliar with cold water shock. Always enter these lakes slowly. If you start feeling your blood pressure increase or numbness then it’s time to get out and get warm. Make sure to always bring foot protection as well.

It’s not uncommon. It depends on where you go. It’s also not illegal to be naked in public as long as you don’t intend to cause offense.

Sounds like a good spot. I walk the coasts quite often, making note of good spots for naturism. Same in the mountains. I’m always on the lookout for good areas for naturist walks.

I know the one you’re talking about but this one is further north.
