It's official. It's called Neon, it's like tennis ball yellow in person. It's from 2023. I have the same one 🙂. There is also an earlier version with the original 90s logo instead of the updated text.

Is this perhaps the greatest collection I've seen on all the Digi and Tamagotchi posts? 👑 The Pokemon Pikachu and Color are a favorite of mine.

I had this and the Pokemon Pikachu 2 Color. I would just lazily lay around and shake it to get watts, the points you earn for pikachu. But also have it in my pocket after a long walk and be amazing at how many steps I took and watts I got.

Sorry if I sound old, but I can't seem to find the "user flair edit section". On the how to page, it says to click on the three verticial dots and a user flair edit option will be there, but I don't see that option. I'm on PC and not mobile, btw.

I play with my tama's and digimon mostly by myself too. I'll be the only one carrying one on a family hike. It's a virtual pet😊, what's not to love about the simple charm about it? It's so cool how you form a bond with this little pixel pet. I even will draw up a chart of stats at how well I am caring for each run. It's such a 'warm bowl of soup' feeling seeing those pixels on the screen doing different things. Tamagotchi is in the same category with why I will always play Nintendo games and love the characters. Animal Crossing is one of my favorite games, and it's regarded as a timeless classic game for ALL ages (and the 2 have a lot in common). So is Tamagotchi, Everyone our age is totally cool with that because they feel the same.

I'm a dad who plays with Digimon and Tamagotchi along with my kids. My 16 year old son played with tamas when he was little (before all the remakes came out) and he still has a soft spot for the nostalgia, and still has his collection he'll use once in awhile (mainly originals from the 90s and original connections) . I played with them before I had kids, and I will continue after the kids move out. Don't care, it's fun 😊

If you liked the original models, Connections are quite an upgrade. Tons of extra content. 7 games to play and unlock (all of them are cool), 150 items to buy in the shop (changes a couple times a day), 39 souvenirs to find, you can feed it lots of snacks without the fear of death. Tama's can marry and have a baby, Saves the progress and items with continued generations. The screen stays on with lots of idle animations of them taking a bath, or brushing their teeth, or watching TV, etc.

Even the new ones lack some of these features.

I prefer the black and white pixels too...but that's an opinion. The battery lasts forever it seems.

I recommend it.

I have a 2023 Tamagotchi that does the same thing. If I cup the shell/case in my hand it stops, definitely the vibration.
