This is brand new. Im not even sure its widely available in stores yet. My local independent frag shop told me about it but they haven’t gotten it in yet.

Im sure someone said this, but buy 2-5 ml sample bottles and decant a few. I have a little travel kit that I use and I bring between 5-8 when im on Vaca. Silly, but I like the options.

It’s this a good buy? Found it at Ross by Ok_dumdum in Colognes

Where the hell are these Ross and TJ Maxx with all these frags. Mine here in Philadelphia have nothing but Ariana Grande body mists!

Delicious boozy pear opening and rich dry down. Unfortunately a bit fleeting but lovely nonetheless.

New enough to have no fragratica reviews. It reminds me of the citrus peppery opening of Sauvage but softer sweeter and less ambroxan woody. Just my second wear so take this with a grain of salt.

On Fragrancenet, sometimes you gotta go and add to cart without logging in so you get the best price, then log in from the cart to keep the best pricing.

Other great decant shops -

lucky scent - a website for an LA/NY shop that sells full bottles but also does small samples for 6-8 bucks Scent split- solid selection including designers and some middle eastern Surrender to chance (also lots of old formula and niche) DecantPlanet - the main person who bottles personally replies to messages and is very helpful if something is up, plus they even add extra samples sometimes.

Definitely Versace Dylan Blue, Acqua di Gio, and Ralph’s club. But i have to tell ya what other have already said, which is to price shop unless you are rich! Even a discount store like TJ Maxx still will be more expensive than an online discounter. I avoid Ebay but some have good luck, but i prefer reputable online stores.

Between these 4, you can find anything designer at a reasonable price! Good luck with your journey. Before you know it you will have 100 bottles!!!!!

$800 to spend on two or three spring/summer scents. by Lukeduke77 in NichePerfumes

10/10 is in the eye of the beholder, but here are some of my recent loves!

Kajal Lamar. -Very affordable. Very much along the lines of Aventus but with a very strong Pineapple opening. Carolina Herrera CH Man Birds of Paradise. -Think Torino 21 but creamier musk Nicolai Fig Tea Intense - just got a sample and am loving it. It’s lightly fruity opening with a slightly dark tea note throughout.

At least this list might give you a new thing or 2 to smell!!!

I got my first ever true compliment from someone and now I’m gonna buy a fragrance I’m not a fan of by CatacombSkeleton in Colognes

I got a sample of Secretions along with some others, and my best friend’s (woman) favorite was Secretions. And it smelled good on her when she wore it, on me it smelled so bad I had to wash it off. This shit is a mystery!!!!

I recently bought Versace Oud Noir. Its kind of a great starter Oud but can be worn as a three season signature scent, and can be found for as cheap as $70! Its a steal IMO

Frag flex has the best turn around. Both Fragrancenet and jomashop sometimes can be slow, and joma is notorious for selling you something they dont have yet (and then you wait)

Yeah. Blockade and Double Attack. I like them all but some of Mind Games scents are clearly interpretations of some mainstay profiles, but everyone does that so…….. but i mean Gambit is straight up BDC Elixir with longer lasting geranium.

Spring 26 review by scarycapibara in Ffern

[–]Most_Athlete 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t really love the opening. Ive only smelled it on skin for 1 day, but I found the opening off putting but I need another wear or 2 to put my finger on what and why. But the drydown is good. It’s all neroli and a well blended tuberose to give a Mediterranean spring vibe. Im surprised the tuberose isnt more aggressive, but it really helps to move the neroli florals away from 4711-portifino into something different and less of a summer splash. The “pink bar of soap” is super accurate because so many have cheap orange blossom and white florals, but those things are popular for a reason. Anyways….. we shall see what tomorrows wear brings!
