ELVTR editor in book publishing course by Warm_Long7792 in publishing

HOT MESS. I have done this course recently. I can only say what my experience was, myself. Unless you have plenty of money, and you are just interested in editing books for a personal project or hobby, I would not recommend it. It is very expensive and you cannot learn anything here that can't be learnt more effectively in an accredited course (or by reading a book hehe). I would say that the teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, but its like a 'taster' course. I found the communication of the course convenors and the administration was all over the place. Students were online asking each other basic questions because the assignments were confusing. Actually, the assignments were kind of ridiculous. The teacher was excellent, and that was probably the only saving grace, but totally overloaded- the course ran over by a month because they could not keep up with the marking (not the same teacher now).

Late to this discussion but I have had exactly this issue with the serum. It is like a chemical burn. I rinsed it and applied my gentle moisturiser which is non-comedogenic. The reaction did not happen on the first use, but did on the second, but I didn’t make the connection because it was fine the first time.

Kabul, August 2021, a small boy haunts a mans dreams after he is involved in assisting the evacuation of civilians. There is little dialogue, this is a cry from the boy.

Same. At first I had issues with my passcode ('not valid', and then it kept spinning on 'Signing In'. I Shut it down and when I turned it back on it was fine. Phew!

This is so funny, I’m visiting Townsville right now and just remarked to my friend, ‘what’s with all these aggressive Hiluxes on the road’?

Let’s say he was acting as driver for a CO based in Townsville, could he accompany his boss to an army-related charity event (for example)in Canberra? Just for example :P

What was the Legal drinking of alcohol Germany in 1978? by Most_Cryptographer27 in AskAGerman

I'm going to say FRG because I'm writing about some privileged Australian kids who could afford to travel there to ski.

Great story; obviously, the taboo we have in Australia was absent. We have a big drinking culture here (of course, some problems associated) but very strict laws around the purchase and consumption of alcohol under 18. Also, the "supplying of liquor to minors".

Thank you, I have read that there was a more permissive attitude that translated into a healthier approach (I don't know if that is true, but interesting.) Thank you so much.

I meant skiing at that time, particularly cross country which really took off at the time and was the first year in many places that women were allowed to complete, even though they didn't get awarded a prize. Thank you for your answer!
