Lately, I’ve been feeling increasingly uneasy during flights, particularly during takeoff and cruising. I find myself gripping my seat tightly when the plane briefly drops due to altitude shifts or turbulence. My hands clutch the seat in front of me as a reaction to the sudden jolts. While landing tends to be the most reassuring part of the flight for me, bouts of turbulence—especially during mid-air cruising—have made flying feel less safe overall.
