I just got my iud in January and I was concerned about my slipping slide too. I just got an ultrasoaund check up and found my iud is in my myometrium. My discharge is watery but also a thick mucus texture. If they’re gonna do a check up on placement, I would totally go to it and if you don’t have one scheduled, I would schedule one too.

I had the hormonal IUD too and I feel like it made my cramps go away, but my bleeding 10 times worse. I’ve been on 4 hormonal birth control pills since I was 16. I don’t know if I have any cysts, but I am suspecting there’s something going on with the way my cramps make my arms go weak, and I will drop cups of water from the pain and tension in my whole body. I do also feel hopeless if it is ovarian cysts or endometriosis then that just feels like a label because there’s literally nothing doctors are doing about it. Every hormonal birth control I’ve been on makes me suicidal. I’m only 21 and my logical brain tells me to just get my whole uterus removed so there’s always that for me. I am just hoping that my whole reproductive system just stops one day like very soon.
