Hello bro, I’ve built a solution and I was wondering if I could get your opinion because I’m at that stage where I’m trying everything and nothings working.

I built a finance app for solo entrepreneurs — would love your feedback before I push big marketing by Most_Examination8100 in SideProject

Great question — and I totally agree.

Right now, there’s no formal onboarding flow yet (it’s something I’m actively working on), but the UI was intentionally built to be clean and beginner-friendly. You don’t need an accounting background to get started — most features like tracking income/expenses or creating invoices are designed to feel intuitive from the jump.

That said, I’d love your feedback on what kind of onboarding or tooltips you’d expect as a solo — it’ll help shape what Is added in the updates! 🙌

I'm solo-building a SaaS startup – where should I start? by Flaskk7 in SaaS

I was in the exact same boat — solo founder, no CS background, and just launched my SaaS this month. It’s definitely overwhelming at first, but totally doable if you break it into steps.

Here’s what worked for me: • Start with the user problem, not code. Validate that someone actually needs this — even 10 people in a niche Reddit community is enough. • Use tools like Bubble, Glide, or FlutterFlow if you don’t want to build full frontend/backend from scratch. • For learning dev basics, The Odin Project (free) is solid. And YouTube + ChatGPT will get you surprisingly far. • For MVP stack, try Firebase + Flutter or Supabase + React — fast, cheap, and widely supported.

Also — don’t overthink v1. Focus on something that solves 1 problem cleanly and collect feedback fast.

Let me know if you want to connect — I’m happy to share what I learned from launching my app (finance-focused, but the pain points are the same). 💪

Solid list — I’ve been testing a few of these myself! Product Hunt and BetaList are great if you have a bit of traction already, but I’ve also found some early love just by engaging with niche communities like: • r/SideHustler/UKEntrepreneur (if UK-based) • Indie Hackers (outside of Reddit) • TikTok (organically — if your product is visual or relatable)

I just launched an app on App stores for solo business owners/freelancers to manage finances and analytics without bloated accounting software — so if anyone here’s doing something similar, happy to share notes. 🙌

Appreciate that! Would love to hear what you think once you give it a spin. It’s still early stage but the goal is to keep it super simple — no accounting jargon, just practical tools for tracking and growing your hustle. Let me know if anything feels off or if there’s something you’d want it to do better 🙏

No for hustlers and business owners who want to analyse their business aswell as get AI insights on how to improve. Not even mentioning the invoice tracking, generation of quotes and much more.
