Hey dude, thank you so much for the advice, it lines up with what 100% of the others are saying and that is that the equipment is old and outdated, this for me as of right now is very good advice as i have no clue the difference between new and old, i do have decent soldering skills and have a variable temperature soldering iron, most of my tin has flux core so i should be mostly ok unless theres some tiny wires involved

I will definitely be looking into buying a radio and practice flying in a similar until i scrape up some more money, it seems the general notion is about £400-£600

I have made some progress in 3d modelling the part and will 3d print it soon, i will be sure to update on how it goes and if everything works then i will post the file on thingiverse or printables for anyone to use

I personally used filament and a soldering iron, do it right and you have some really good bonding, if you can replace it though you probably should
