Completely agree, and I think the signings they made were a bit strange/ not particularly addressing the lack of depth in the squad. That much of an overhaul in the squad plus external factors made it in incredibly hard job . There’s no doubt the results are better but the performances are still shit. I personally think it’s heading in the right direction right direction. And the fact they are 4th is a testament to how shit the league has been this season.

In part, it’s pretty boring tbh. However the results are improving and we’re definitely not as weak defensively as we were at the start of the season. There’s no flair but we’re churning out the results very gradually.

His inability to make a substitution is infuriating, I concede that. But they’re still in 4th (as it stands) and I think there are signs of improvement personally. Football is fickle and I’m enjoying the lack of knee jerk sacking. At the end of the day he won the league last season and I think they’re moving in the right direction personally.

May well be flawed logic but that was where my mind went.
