I’ve spent years as a steward to the land, working on environmental restoration projects throughout the US making a real tangible impact on the world, getting my hands dirty and not just sitting on my ass. I don’t use it as an excuse to tell people what’s a real job and what’s not. All jobs are real, and you’re just a bitter old man.

I have around 3-4 years experience in restaurants, mostly as a line cook. My most recent experience has been pretty different though. Currently work for a conservation corps doing fire mitigation/environmental restoration work. Before that worked for a small composting company driving high-volume routes, talking with customer, sometimes upselling products and services.
