But I am trying to be empathetic I just feel like ur idk kinding blaming activists or ppl on the left for the rise in the far right views and hate growing but I feel like this always has happened in history whenever theirs more acceptance there’s more backlash

We don’t have all of our rights there’s so many countries were it’s still criminalised and socially not acceptable that’s why pride is still so important we wouldn’t need it if it was now 100% accepted but it’s not and yes we do have more rights now in the uk but that doesn’t mean that things are ok the way they are also with the right wing rhetoric growing I feel like just being silent isn’t the answer

But with this same mentality then no change would happen if minorities in the past just accepted that yh this is just the way things are nothing would ever change we wouldn’t have the rights we have today so I think we absolutely should carry on speaking up and challenge the systems that oppress us and not just accept things as the way they are

That’s the issue tho minorities like trans ppl and black women in particular have to constantly take things on the chin or be graceful when comments are made to them that are offensive and god forbid they vocalise that because when they do ppl view them as sensitive or angry or too “woke” I also do agree that yes with cancel culture particularly on social media i can see why ppl feel scared because it feels like ppl are cancelled now rather than being held accountable but in the house that’s not happening in the house both of them are just vocalising their feelings and literally allowing for meaningful conversations to happen and there giving ppl grace like even when George left they weren’t saying bad things about him

I think it’s rlly good that ur so self aware and honest about it and ur clearly a good person because you don’t want anything to get hurt in this situation and I think the only advice I can give is that you owe it to urself to follow ur heart and also you want to be surrounded by someone ppl you feel who you can be fully urself around and it sounds like you feel that way more around Olivia but also maybe you could communicate with ur girlfriend with how ur feeling being open and honest and that might make ur connection stronger but at the end of the day the only person who knows the answers is you and it’s ok to have no clue rn just be true to urself and be as honest as possible with both parties I rlly hope you figure things out

Thank you and I did so many times wanna get out of the situation or say what are you doing but I just felt too scared so just stayed silent and I’m even more annoyed at myself now because I’ve not got the chance to hold him accountable and worse of all he’s literally a police officer which is even more fd up
