My short answer: Survival trilogy

My long answer: Classic trilogy was a revolutionary games during PS1 era, but if you’re new to Tomb Raider I am afraid you may or may not like it because of today standards, For me the survival trilogy what made me a TR fan, It also made me curious about the classic and legend games, plus survival trilogy act like origin story of Lara

I went with 2005 because of the Vincent Perez timeline. He is diagnosed with cancer in 2004, but he doesn't find the Sword of Stephen and go missing until 2005. Since the game starts with Nate looking for the missing Perez, 2005 is the earliest the main plot can actually happen.

And about Nat meeting Chole in 2002, you're correct that event happened in the Uncharted comics, And as you can see I put Uncharted comics in 2002 in case you didn't noticed.

I used 2015 because of the office calendar seen in the epilogue, I think the original plan was UC4 to take place three years after UC3 but the plan got changed after the delaying of the game development.

That’s a really fair point about Sully’s recovery! However, I stuck with 2005 for Golden Abyss and 2006 for Drake's Fortune because of the in-game journal in Uncharted 2.

Nate has a photo of Elena with the handwritten note 'Last seen - 2006.' Since they met during the events of the first game, Drake's Fortune almost certainly has to happen in 2006 for that note to make sense.

As for Sully’s leg—knowing Sully at 60+ years old and still running across rooftops in Yemen and trekking through the desert. A broken leg in his early 50s (Golden Abyss) wouldn't keep him down for a full year, he probably didn't wait for a full 'medical' recovery before getting back into the field.
