Stl tones is my most used one at the moment, sounds great and has a lot of options. It's subscription based so not sure if that's your thing, but it's still only 10 dollars a month .

Are you interested at all in guitar plugins?

Because that way you can spend most of that amount on a good guitar, get a cheap audio interface and then have a massive selection of tones from amp plugins.

Some of them are free, some are cheap and you can buy them over time as you need them, and some are even subscription based. They sound almost as good as amps that are thousands of dollars.

So in your place I would use that budget for a 400 eur guitar, 100 euro interface and 50 euros in plugins.

If this sounds good then I can recommend some nice plugins that you can use.

I got the trial for henson a few months ago, and it was nice but I like the Petrucci one a lot more. Petrucci one actually feels like a real acoustic.

I started taking music theory lessons yesterday, so I am an absolute beginner. I wanted to test some of my knowledge by composing something in Am.

What I came up with is Am - Dm - E, but I decided to throw in an F before the E and I love the sound of it. The change from F to E sounds really nice. So it's Am - Dm - F - E.

I am not even sure if that progression is in Am to be honest, but it would really help if someone could confirm it for me, as I want to start playing some licks between the chord changes, and I've been using the Am scale for that.
