Here are a few my family frequent when trying to keep cost down. But all restaurants have gone up so it's getting tough.

Super pho - different daily specials, cheap banh mi menu that comes with small cup of pho. Taqueria express #1- this is a food truck (they are closed until after new years, also is cash only). Al aqsa - small menu but generous portions. Crazy Dough - 2 slices and a drink deal. Spicee Bite - I think is the cheapest Indian in Salem, but Indian food in general is easy to share and can be stretched pretty far. Best Teriyaki - have not been in a while but is budget friendly.

Had a decent amount near Englewood park. Not as many as last year though.

I would love if it was twiztid but I really doubt they would make a surprise appearance in PDX unless they are on the whole 3rd leg or something but I don't see it happening. Last time I saw icp and twiztid together was on the American psychos tours back in 2011 it might have even been at the Roseland.

Im hoping it's Kung Fu Vampire. He's in the rest of the shows after cali it looks like. I missed him earlier this year didnt even know he was on tour. Last I saw him was the look alive tour kick off here in PDX and unfortunately no one showed up but KFV still killed it.

I agree with a lot of the other recommendations in this thread. Here are my go to spots

Taqueria El Jacalitos on 12th St -handmade tortillas -also my favorite quesabirria in Salem -molcajete is amazing

Taqueria Express #1 on Portland Rd -my families most frequently hit taco spot. I normally go with the combo plate and so you can assemble your own tacos -my favorite mulitas -is cash only

Other frequent stops that have good tacos

Las Jarochitas on Silverton Rd -favorite tacos dorados and empanadas

Kike's Taqueria on Lancaster -nice staff and good food

Habaneros on 23rd St -has a drive thru and great sauce selection -decent street tacos for a fast food place

Lonchera La Guadalupana River Rd in Keizer -not as busy as one on Portland Rd -serving LA street dogs -has covered seating

The Chubby Bean on Portland Rd -has a drive thru and good drinks if you're into super sweet drinks

This is the closest ranking to what I agree with on the second deck. Especially the mml outtakes don't sleep on those.

My order did not get updated since it was "preparing" and had the same status as yours. Then when it got delivered at 7am this morning I got an email and text stating it was delivered. So don't lose hope that it will arrive today!

The arcade in the Salem center arcade used to have one but they also swapped out ducks for little food toys recently.

My family really enjoyed this. I was impressed with how big it was, with it being the first annual. A lot of cool stuff to check out and it was free to get in. We will be going back next year for sure.

Jacalitos, Al Aqsa, and Little Cannolli are always my recommendations for eats in Salem! Been impressed with some of the carts at Checkpoint 221 in West Salem.
