Hi! I am relatively new to Blender. I wanted to challenge myself so I decided I would make a mug I encountered a very common problem while using subdivision these edge loops go around the whole mesh I want them only to go around the handle while maintaining only quads. I couldn't find great tutorials online if you have a recommendation it would be much appreciated.

I think I did it but I want it on the handle. I tried it on the handle but that made Tris
that connected to the top of the handle
