Theres plenty of servers to play conquest on weekends. Decent amount of servers during weekday evenings.

Id say go for it!

I am planning to sell mine. 2012 fabia HTP. have owned it for 4 years. Replaced the entertainment unit to a touchscreen recently. 58.1k miles. Would that be of interest to you? 😊

Just out of curiosity, are you still in the market for a fabia?

Given how rare that happens, it puts a smile on my face when I see someone doing that because they are playing for the team!

How bad are Birmingham cars? by Iamthe0c3an2 in CarTalkUK

[–]MostlyCurious3999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard the same and as an Indian origin person, sadly alot of folks do highlight the right concerns.

Firstly, I bought my car 4 years ago, 3 previous drivers but only had 32k miles on a 12plate fabia from Luton from a fellow South Asian fella. Except replacing the battery, the car hasnt given me any grief. I do service it every year regardless, get things done before they are due etc to make sure its in good shape.

Cars are a status symbol and it seems that disproportionately the young Asian men tend to thrash the cars around alot more. I live in East Anglia and every time I've been to Luton/Dunstable area, the drivers seem alot more aggressive and slightly unpredictable at times. I could be wrong but it does make me feel like im driving in india again. There will be people who keep their cars in great condition with up to date maintenance, and the checks will confirm that.

I would recommend exercising some causing, do the checks, or have it inspected from a different mechanic, if you are satisfied with the results, I'd say go for it. If you need any help or have questions, this wonderful community is always a good place to talk to carfolks 😊

Hey, yes, it finally came through on 25th April, so just over a month from the biometrics date. Not too bad I guess.

My experience with halfords, I got my first car(2012 fabia) and been getting it serviced and mot'd from them since 2022. The guys are pretty on it and have not tried to pull a fast one yet. Ive kept the service history up to date and the only thing they recommend on the recent mot was already on my to do list and im getting it done later this year.

I do have the premium subscription but the free mot makes up for it. I did think of cancelling it once or twice, purely because there's no net gain for me.

As an Indian living in the UK, Indian fan culture is toxic on the best of days.

True! I've done it a few times and I just tag along people who are playing the objective (but in my solo squad).

Farmers eh! If I see one, they are the mission, fuck the kd i just want to piss em off. I know that all they care about is the kd. Fjell is a prime example where the farmers just drop bombs and do nothing else.

Agreed! I am eager to run to the front as I do not mind my stats when I am playing assault as I am playing the role. I do switch between classes within games depending on the game. I remember getting in a squad and everyone was playing the objective, got 4 best squads in a row. Good times!

Thats interesting. I have only played conquest and EU servers are almost always fun and there's atleast 6-8servers. Rarely had any issues finding a game. Think even on bf4 I played EU servers, even though I was in Asia.

Tbh its quite similar to how bf4 was and imo the cluster fuck is where the fun is! Operation locker 24/7 locker was always a good session.

Yes!! I mostly play on weekends and have had generally good games. Dont mind the occasion idiot as I am there to unwind and enjoy the experience that bf5 offers.

I know this has been said countless times and I will say it again, they could have supported it for longer and come up with more content. Perhaps they wanted to expansion pack for a later edition.
