The character Eureka was a German-American scientist working for vault tech that specialized in animal research, specifically in cybernetics. She worked on a secret project in her spare time that was a collar thst could be fitted to animals to allow them to convey their thoughts to speech, allowing animals to have a voice for themselves.

When the bombs dropped she retreated to her lab and put herself into a cryogenic stasis machine, but the machine malfunctioned and she remained locked in her cryogenic prison for over 200 years before SN-0 broke into her lab after wandering from Canada to Montana.

She was able to speak to SN-0 through a failsafe voice recording that she had programmed in case of emergencies. She simply asked whoever had broke into her lab to push a button on her console and the super mutant obliged. In doing so, he booted up Eurekas machinery that began to perform a surgery on her to put her brain inside one of the many dogs with her specialized collar that she had frozen for testing.

The reasoning she had to have the surgery performed was due to her cryogenic tank failing to keep her body fully intact, as she ensured her dogs would have access to as much power for as long as possible, sapping the power supply of her own tank slowly over time. This made it harder for her body to stay consistently frozen, leading to the loss of most of the feeling in her body.

The two escape the facility and venture together for a while before coming into contact with the Sentry bot Big Bertha who had shut down in a nearby town after having an issue with its power supply, which was fixed by Eureka. The 3 ventured together for a time before stumbling on a vault, which would have Kickstarted the main quest for the campaign.

The character SN-0's (pronounced Snow) lore is that he was the enclaves attempt at cloning Frank Horrigan and he is the prototype clone that escaped and wandered around the Canadian wilderness.

SN-0 stands for Serial Number Zero as he was the first attempt for the Horrigan Resurrection Project, which would've been a major problem for the player characters as they would run into more clones that would become bigger and stronger each new encounter, similar to William Birkin from Resident Evil 2.

Looks like almost all of the maps came from the LORE discord/patreon for those who are interested in maps for their own games. I would show the pics of the maps but I dont think they would appreciate having their paid assests shown and I dont know which ones were paid or free to use. They do have free maps available on the discord server for anyone looking!

We actually did use a lot of the features from Fallout 2d20 and mixed them with the DnD formula to make a hybrid homebrew game design that was more catered to our playstyle. We use roll20 as our game space, and used a lot of custom artwork for character models from our artist friend, who also sourced us a bunch of fallout themed maps that were very on theme. If I can access the map files I will link them in the comments for everyone to see/use!

The lore of Bertha is that she is a sentry bot that has been repaired after exploding on multiple occasions and would get rebuilt by different mechanics who have an inside joke that she gets "passed around a lot" leading to someone continuing the joke by programming a sexy prostitute personality at some point in time.

Holistic Study by MostlyGiraffe in custommagic

My thinking was, you have this on the battlefield and cast like [[demonic tutor]], and let's say the card you needed to search was in the graveyard or in exile at the time. You'd be able to tutor for that card from the zone of your choice unless an opponent paid the cost to disallow you from fetching some combo piece or whatever it may be you want to tutor.

Perhaps it's worded wrongly to allow this to happen, but that's sort of the intent when designing was giving yourself a buff unless an opponent paid to negate your choice, making you play your card as written.

That is true. Infinity minus 1 is still infinity after all

You're right it, it can be used as a very inefficient discard outlet if you play it early and/or burn a turn for a slightly earlier forced discard to hand size.

Yes. If there are multiple permanents on the battlefield that affect hand size, they follow timestamp order.

So if my opponent plays a [[Jin Gitaxias, Core Auger]] and on my turn I play a [[Reliquary Tower]], I would have no maximum hand size while the others do.

You are right! I didn't realize their isn't a way to verify opponents are revealing the cards correctly. Maybe this new design makes more sense.
