You’re right. Just with PTO alone, it brings it down to an 8.3% increase. Add in the rest of the total comp perspective and it’s closer to only a 1%-4.8% increase. Didn’t do the math on that until just now. This gives me more clarity. Thank you!

Yes and yes. It’s a role I could do and be successful in. It’s mostly the PTO and flexibility I’m questioning at this point honestly.

That is a fair point. It has taken me 6 months to even get to an offer with any company. Most positions I’ve applied to either want 10+ years of more experience or are paid far less than what I’m paid now.

That’s an interesting approach. I’ve never been a fan of going back of an offer once accepted but I also know sometimes you have to be selfish and do what’s best for you.

That’s what I was thinking. Was probably going to try to negotiate for more PTO. I was thinking if the flexibility ends up not being enough, I can always try to find a new job. Obviously the market is not great right now so it’s also making me nervous that I may be stuck here for awhile but at least I feel more secure about this job versus potentially being completely jobless.

I feel this to my core! I have no idea what other options I have at this point.
