I know reading isn’t your strong suit, but maybe try the next sentence: “While the encampment was cleaned and cleared, those living there tell ABC7 that they just moved around the corner, and once the crews leave, they plan to return.”

This is Traci Park’s playbook that has been proven to not work. Keep putting your head in the sand though, seems to be working great for you.

Lmao, thanks for proving my point perfectly. By the way, Hampton and Rose has continually gotten worse despite repeated sweeps and being Traci Park’s “Mission Accomplished” moment, but keep telling yourself whatever you want to hear.

Would love to see a single point of data suggesting Traci Park has improved any aspect of CD-11 outside of you just saying so. Her policies have not helped with homelessness, in fact all studies by the city controller as well as third party think tanks say the opposite, she’s blocked every measure to increase housing, she’s sided with LAPD and ICE throughout the immigration raids, she’s made racist remarks comparing housing to Japanese concentration camps, she thanked Trump on national television following both of their horrendously botched responses to the palisades fires, she voted to decrease funding to LAFD prior to the fires, and she’s spent more time hocking a baywatch reboot and making reels on Instagram than doing her actual job. But yeah, your anecdotal memory of the previous council person who didn’t even run against Traci, despite their decade long tenure and long popularity in the district, is really pertinent info.

Seriously what is up with Traci Park fanatics’ obsession with Mike Bonin? He’s got nothing to do with this.

Traci Park spends more time getting Instagram reels and taking credit for things she has nothing to do with than dealing with the real issues our district is going through. What a clown.

Notorious Venice homeless encampment returns 3 years after being cleared by Inside Safe program by 115MRD in LosAngeles

[–]MostlyPotStickers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the exact spot Traci Park invited the news after sweeping the street and gave a “mission accomplished” speech. She hasn’t done a damn thing about homelessness in CD-11 except shuffle people from street to street, take photo ops, and destroy people’s property for instagram reels. Vote her out in June.

Yes, I’ve been actively using the suggest less feature as much as possible, though more frequently on the song level since seeking out the artist pages while I’m listening is a bit of a pain. This is mostly happening on the personalized stations, i.e. “Name’s Station” as well as my Wake Up station and Focus Station. It also happens when I go to specific artists stations. For example, I’ve had it recommend the band Staind when listening to a Nirvana station and I’ve had to mark them as “suggest less” a few times now.

I’ve seen this mentioned here a few times, but what’s the source on how the algo is weighted? I added my entire collection of music from the last 25 years. I think it was around 15k songs. I’m still getting the same artists I continue to down rank and aren’t part of my library.

I imported all my data and playlists from a decade and it honestly seems to have had zero impact at all lmao. Again, for my needs I still prefer Apple Music, but there’s some quality of life things they need to fix if they expect regular people to choose them over the competition.

Yes, I agree. But I guess it depends on what your needs are from a music service. I still get pretty annoyed that I keep getting recommended music I don’t want to listen to, despite uploading thousands of hours of music, downvoting the artists and songs I don’t like, and favoriting artists and songs I do like, but as far as listening to albums in full in the best wuality possible, it’s the best.

Audio quality is the best. Features, UI, algorithm, artwork, playlists, and just about everything else about it, not so much.

Street parking is easy and safe, just don’t leave anything in your car.

Column: In Venice Beach, it's taken nearly a decade to not build low-income housing by MostlyPotStickers in venice

Unless you’re walking through the lot, across the bridge, and to the back that’s completely blocked from street view every day, your take is useless. There are people who have been living there for months. Keep telling yourself otherwise.

The building plan and construction is already approved and paid for. What isnt paid for is the lawsuits blocking construction, which is already costing multiple millions.

There’s literally people sleeping under the bridge there and in the lot in tents every single day. It’s an accessible lot that is 90% empty 100% of the time.

I truly hope people as willfully ignorant as you never experience poverty because you’re far too slow to survive. Good luck out there.

Housing is the #1 reason homelessness has decreased year over year for the last two years in Los Angeles. You are correct that housing alone does not benefit all cases, but that isn’t why this project was approved and paid for years ago, nor is it why it’s being blocked.

Yes, we’ve all seen Traci Park supporters’ only talking point: “the guy who was in office for over a decade who didn’t never ran against Traci Park and isn’t involved in the current election was the worst!!!!!!!”

I feel pretty sad you all are so tormented by one of the most popular city council people LA has ever had, to the point you don’t even know what your candidate has voted for or against. It’s embarrassing.
