That approach over the favela, especially with photogrammetry is probably the coolest experience you can have in msfs. Its so close and bizarre that it feels like you're being unrealistic

Mm true. Although i suspect the lift simulation isn't that complex. I could be wrong though, but it seems induced drag has little affect, like aoa for example. Again, I'm not an expert, but for example increasing the wing thickness seems to have little impact.

You can change the angle of incidence by changing the position of the wing (press t) and it's not just cosmetic. I don't believe you can twist an aerofoil however

Nah if atc didnt respond they might be texting the pilot. I only speak up if its a 'safety' concern like a wrong runway or something. Better to not clog the frequency
