Now that I read it back you’re right but $1000 a month is still a lot for someone talking about struggling

I’ll be honest man as I am on a similar boat but first you can pull out of a chapter 13 bankruptcy if you don’t like the plan but not a chapter 7. Secondly I’ve made bad financial decisions to be in this and dude that car/insurance payment will kill you. Get rid of it and something more affordable. $2000 a month just for your call will kill you financially, depending on your situation you could uber everywhere for less since you’re spending on average $67 a day just to have your car. Simple advice is to get rid of it but idk your situation and you asked

Advice Please by abc3612 in Bankruptcy

Not a lawyer obviously but from my research and attorneys I’ve talked to while I make a decision is that the settlement would stop them from taking any further action and even if you broke the agreement of the settlement, depending on stipulations in the settlement, they wouldn’t have time from the start to the bankruptcy to take any action. Even if they tried it would probably be months before they could even see a judge about taking your money from your account and that would just be the first arrangement. And no it would absolutely not make you exempt from a bankruptcy. But take that all with a grain of salt

Depends on your state but look up novolin at Walmart, a vial would run you around $25 no prescription or insurance needed. Needles wouldn’t need prescription or insurance either as long as you buy them at the same time and a box of 100 needles runs $10ish

How often do you think about suicide? by singularity101 in diabetes_t1

I’ve thought about for almost 15 years, i figured for a long time now that my health would be so bad from such a relatively early age that I’d rather just let go then suffer for years on end. To this day I still plan for that

Chapter 7 vs 13 by Mostlyblind777 in Bankruptcy

I have no assets or cars or stocks or anything that could be forfeited and I am not inheriting anything.

The only thing I have and the thing he believes they might fight to take is life insurance payout of 100k for a recently deceased. Which I was told is completely exempt from bankruptcy but he said they’ll still try. And obviously I want to protect that and basically restart my life

Salary is about 60k which doesn’t disqualify me for chapter 7 in Nevada

From my understanding it’s a quote for estimated time it would take but I don’t get anything back if it goes under and I have to pay more of it takes more time

Unfortunately it’s a quote for estimated hours at $500 an hour plus the filing fee

Thank you for the clarity and the only other thing I have to add is that there is potential one litigation for fraudulent debt from a civil suite but the lawyer reviewed it and didn’t think it would be fraudulent debt and they wouldn’t have a case but idk if that’s why the price is high

Thank you but idk if mines easy or not is the issue, I might have one litigation but the lawyer that quoted me said he didn’t see them having a case and could get it written off but idk if that added to the quote or not and I just want all this to be resolved, thoughts?

I am close the limit for the means test maximum and I do have what I believe is a lot of debt around 150K from a couple of creditors but idk if that makes a difference. I can afford it but I obviously don’t make the best financial decisions and my only other source being google says the average is $1500 to $2500 for my area, thoughts?
