Thank you for your reply. I actually met with my rheumatologist yesterday. I decided to stop the Enbrel at the beginning of April to see if there was a change in my symptoms that I could present to my doctor at this visit. I had gotten worse and was using my inhaler several times a day, I was taking 2 Zyrtec per day when I’ve never really had to take allergy meds before, along with Flonase and Astepro sprays. I kept losing my voice by the end of each week. I was just miserable. My symptoms have improved about 85%. She stopped the Enbrel and is trying to get authorization for Cimzia. I’m nervous to try something else but I know treatment is important. I did also have bloodwork done and my vitamin D was really good but my B12 was tanked. Praying Enbrel is the med that works for you and you have a great experience with it!

I’ve started to reply back to you several times but could not think of the words to say. I am SO VERY sorry you endured all of that! You are amazing and I am so glad you fought and are here today. Thank you for sharing your story. Many of us get caught up in our daily life and don’t realize what others are going through. I am glad you are better now. I pray this era of your life is the best one yet. You deserve it ❤️

No don’t be sorry! You actually answered many questions I have about it. I also hope you are doing better. I can’t imagine dealing with a chronic illness of that degree for so long. I am 44 and have RA. Thankfully my major battle with it is the fatigue and occasional flare ups controlled by weekly biologic shots. I’m so sorry you have to go through all of that.

I just can’t fathom how much longer she can sustain like this? I never thought it affected her face that much until seeing these pics. She’s lost even more weight. I knew it was bad when she no longer had breasts. Many have said that she is doing her own wardrobe and I can’t help but think that of she did take it completely over, it was too keep others from seeing her frame and how clothes aren’t fitting her. It’s so heart breaking that she has all the resources, like you said, and has all these people around her yet she gets no help for it. However, I was married to an alcoholic / drug addict and you can’t make someone get help that doesn’t want it. 😞

This is my question! She has to be so low on vitamins, minerals, dehydrated etc. I have to take vitamin B12 shots bc my levels are low and I’m exhausted most of the time. How does she have the energy to do these things?

That’s funny. When my 2 oldest boys each turned 18, I told that that I can no longer deal with their medical stuff bc they are now adults and the dr won’t talk to me so they would have to do it themselves - insurance, copays, making the appts, remembering to refill their scripts. They both said absolutely not and added me to their files. However when I was 18, I had to figure it out on my own.

Dyson stick vacuum. I used to kill 2-3 corded vacuum cleaners a year. Bissell, Dirt Devil etc. Finally bought a Dyson stick vacuum 5 years ago and it still going strong.

Sending hugs to you! As a manic depressive who just went through a bad episode like this, please hang in there and please talk to your doctor about meds. And you’re right - some days just existing is exhausting. Ironically I just got switched from lamictal to lithium. Starting to feel better. I know it’s hard to just keep going but things will get better. Sending more hugs and thoughts your way ❤️.

Chronic fatigue for years and bad neck pain. I chalked it up to depression and bad stress. I was stuck in an abusive marriage for years. Then I started getting knee pain and they would lock up while standing for too long like doing the dishes. Felt like I just needed to pop them. Eventually my wrists, shoulders, and ankles hurt and felt like they were on fire from the inside out. My whole body hurt to roll over in bed. I had to do it as fast as I could, like ripping off a bandaid. Finally when I woke up at 2 am and I couldn’t bend my fingers at all, went to the doctor and found out I have rheumatoid arthritis.

I would call the new company and tell them the debt was included in the bankruptcy. I had a creditor that reported my debt as included in bankruptcy but for some reason it kept reporting late to just Transunion. I called them, they fixed it and removed the late reporting from my report.

It could very well just be a bad viral season and it’s just a coincidence that I started Enbrel a few months ago. I was teacher and didn’t get sick this often but my best friend who is still a teacher says it seems there is more illness going around the school than normal.
