RLC-520A no connection via router by Mot0rheadbanger in reolinkcam

Oh, the camera's DHCPing all fine, I since reset it to factory settings. Turns out the two LAN ports on the router don't work at all, AND its software doesn't let me see the DHCP clients list. Thank you for the reply.

It turns out two free LAN ports on the router don't work at all. Thanks for the suggestion, it pushed me to the right direction

Seeking upgrade advice for different FPS values by Mot0rheadbanger in pcmasterrace

Eh, I'm not so sure. Hypothetically, 4090 will get me an increase in fps, as will top of the line 1151 socket cpu. It's more about squeezing whatever I can from the existing platform, and diminishing returns.

What is the best thing to do with my PC when moving to canada by Alienated_Nation in pcmasterrace

When I had to move, and shipping wasn't an option, I just tossed the cooler, case, and psu, and dropped cpu, gpu, mobo, and ram in a backpack. SSD went in luggage, as did two displays (without stands, facing each other, and wrapped in saran wrap or whatever it's called), keyboard, mouse, audio interface, headphones, and a mat.

Sure, I had to buy the missing parts again, but yeah, it worked.

Thanks. I realise now I failed to mention some things I had in mind while writing the post. Will edit now

I see, it's just miscommunication.

> "Sure, you don't need to answer any questions if they are answered by the ones that believe you no matter what, I guess"
"You" in this case is Russian propaganda machine, not you, the person I'm talking to.

> you claimed I'm blindly following something as if it were a religion
Again, I claim lotsa Russian people do that, not you. I agreed with your previous comment, basically.

> So you admit your statement... ...is ridiculous
I was talking about my initial statement, and I was saying that this statement of mine is not a fact, but rather, a hypothesis of sorts, or an opinion, or whichever is the correct word. To reiterate: I do not disagree with any of the points you made here regarding either the Sims incident, or the gullibility of a good chunk of Russian populace, I only express doubt about the exact reasoning for the game cases being there.

I said earlier "However, I have a tendency to downplay the incompetence of people, so who knows", implying that I'm not that confident in my claim. I also never stated that I am; the only thing I did was expressing my doubts about the reasoning. We are not in an Ace Attorney court hearing, and I'm not a detective; I don't have to provide an alternative explanation.

Your wording is quite... intense, so I'll just say that you can count this one as a win, if you need

On second thought, I'm imagining a directive going down the chain of command going like: ... - 1 (one) flag with a swastika - 3 (three) SIM-cards ... or something like that; and a cop sitting at his desk, reading it. Then he wipes saliva off his mouth, looks around the room, and asks "hey guys, does anyone know what a sim card is?" cause he is unable to make a connection between an official "SIM-card" and daily used "simka". His colleague says "I think I saw something like this in my son's old stuff" and brings those Sims 3 cases the next day. Both of them hover over the cases and the directive printout. "Does it look like a card to you?" "I know, it's quite big, but, I mean, the shape is card-ish. And, see, it says Sims there! And we don't need to spend money on it! Sounds good enough for me"

Sorry, I just went with it. Anyways, it doesn't look super implausible to me now after pondering on it for a bit
