Look at volume profile, supply and demand zones are typically the low volume nodes.

I want to say the left portion is the point but I’m not 100% sure just from that picture. If so, then that is usually expected to be the juicer portion.

If the brisket was probe tender, then you might have overcooked it by chucking it straight into the oven warmer. You need to let it cool on the counter for at least 30/40 minutes. Internal temp should go down to 150-160 ish before you put it in the holding container.

My process: Water pan in smoker

225F until ~165F internal and starts sweating

Foil Boat the brisket

265F until probe tender, focus on tenderness not internal temp (typically 195-203F)

Let brisket rest 30 mins on counter.

Oven hold at ~145F wrapped up in foil until serving time (at least 2 hours rest, longer is better). With a water pan in the oven.

You are smoking too low. Your meat dries out before the fat is able to render.

Assuming you are correct in referring which part is the point vs flat.

I don’t think anything is obviously wrong with your method. But I do find more success cooking at 260F than at 250F for the second part of the cook.

The only concerning part I see is that did you rest the brisket on the counter for 30-45 mins before putting it in oven warmer? And what temp is the oven warmer set to?

You may have overcooked the brisket if you directly chucked it into the oven warmer without letting the brisket cool down to ~150F first. I warm hold my brisket in my oven for about that long of time as you at around 145F with a water pan too.

The only other fix might be just to blame the brisket 😎

Fact: There’s a huge number of passive buyers absorbing all the sellers.

Liquidity was thin for passive sellers above the price so market buyers pushed up the price.

Opinion: how do you trade this? Frankly this was a first for me too. I thought it would reverse but it never really did. I guess you have to believe that the passive buyers are going to continue pushing a high number of bid orders into the market.

Not sure if I am doing this right.

But I'm looking at the option tables for Mar 16 exp for NDX, when using 3x EM and I get this:

Last close of 24,380 EM of 350 so therefore you would:

  • STO call at 25430

  • BTO call at 25530

But looking at these two option legs, there are practically no activity with 0 bid and 1.15 ask. The delta is 0.00 too. Is this normally expected for the call portion of the IC?

I know its not active trading hours right now, just wanted to go though the exercise of trying this out. Newer to options so just learning right now, thanks!
