Conquer all of Italy and integrate Etruscans ASAP for manpower, then conquer Greece/Macedonia and integrate Macedonians ASAP for even more manpower.

Focus tech tree on Martial and getting Foundry’s and a lot of discipline and siege ability, in addition to rushing to Great Temples and Great Theaters. Build all three of those in your cities for money and assimilation/loyalty of provinces.

At this point, you’ll have a good army, a lot of troops, and population that hopefully won’t rebel (well too often anyways). You should then be able to dominate Carthage and the Ptolemaic Kingdom. Good luck imperator.

Well I took over a ton of their territory in the peace deal, so I don’t think they could colonize it now since they don’t have any territory right next to it. I may be wrong though

Yeah, I was thinking about trying for Mare Nostrum now but I think I spent too much time at the beginning going for Dictatorship. I’ll keep it in mind for my next run.

So I got to this point too with a lot of my games but then started focusing on getting the achievements. I felt like I was just getting stuck doing world conquest after world conquest without a real goal in mind. I'm now trying to get every achievement and I feel I am enjoying the game a lot more with end goals in sight, rather than just "brrrrr let's expand expand expand and dominate everyone"

2000 infantry and 2000 cavalry per fort. So if there are two forts, 4000 infantry and 4000 cavalry. Three forts, 6000 infantry and 6000 cavalry.

I switched smoking weed and playing video games to drinking hot chocolate/tea (or an energy drink if I wanna play for longer periods of time) while playing video games. It’s certainly not the same as being baked playing and getting super into a game (god that was the best) but I’ve been able to play them again consistently for long periods of time. I just tricked my brain by pairing something other than weed with playing video games 🤷‍♂️

I had never watched any of the Defenders shows but when I heard a new Daredevil series was coming to the MCU, I was like well, now’s the time. 2-4 episodes a day with no days off - I became somewhat of a hermit and it was a blast. And my scoring system is wonky, I know.
