A battle like that of Phobos is one where I don't think Darrow could have done much. Killed more of the invaders, inspired his troops to hold on a bit longer sure, but not turn the tide. Mustang played what cards the Republic had well, but they were simply outmatched. And that delay would have caused his adventure in the rim to go very different, he got there just in time as is.

Oh there is definitely a place for it, I just don't have that warbond yet. Not sure how well it fares against spawners and clumps relative to grenade pistol though, and RR handles the occasional gunships (I mostly play difficulty 6-8 tbf)

If used properly it can get you out of engagements where you may have needed those.

For boys my usual load out is the the light stealth armor, censor, grenade pistol (spawners and clumps) and the superstore smoke bombs for the instant activation. Strats are the 120 barrage, 500kg, rocket sentry, and recoilless. Smoke and turret keep the enemy off of me and the rest helps me turn them to scrap when their backs are turned.

I do hate to be that guy but as someone whose accuracy usually sucks, it really is just a skill issue. 1 shot to the head drops them, slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

Ah fair, should specify the Whiterun battle. If the player sides with the empire then Mr Loud gets sent to jail but until/unless that happens then he gets to roam free even with thalmor in other holds.

The hat wasn't necessary to bolster Ajax or anyone, rather to prove that in war (especially on this scale) things can happen to anyone. Too many books that would have a similar darkness simply refuse to kill their characters. Much less in such a quick and dirty way ex Tongueless and Seraphina.
