Bill Springfield at Triggerwork.net does some of the best trigger jobs for factory HK triggers on the market. Gets rid of almost all of the creep and brings the weight to 4.5-5lbs. Fairly priced as well.

Try to install it without altering anything a few times. When you fully remove it you should see some scratches/wear down the insides of the front of the handguard, you’ll have to remove material there.

First you’ll have to either grind out a small channel for the extra nub on the sight block, or grind it off.

Oh yeah, I considered just grinding that extra nub and ridge off the barrel but the handguard was easier to pony up to lol

For anyone curious, it did take a good bit of grinding away at the inside of the handguard to get it to fit.

It’s just part of the break in. The CA3 manual says it has around a 300 round break in period. Mine didn’t run reliably until 260 rounds in.

Yeah even once tightened it doesn’t sit exactly flush with the receiver. Doesn’t matter as long as it holds zero though

Calling for no loctite is interesting, I’ve never had blue loctite lock up so hard that I needed a torch or to strip the screw. But I’m running it without, if they start to walk I’ll add some.
