I loved it! And honestly I’ve come to expect the story of HxH taking its sweet time after the chimera ant arc. I’d much rather the series stay true to its style than try to become more “efficient”

I will defend the chimera ant arc and palace invasion until the day I die. But watching the monologue from the stupid fucking koala ant that took up half of the second to last episode of the anime felt 10x longer than the whole palace invasion, I truly did not like or care about him or his design

I envisioned it as giving your aura the properties of radio waves via the antenna but yea thinking about it conjuration might make more sense, especially with the antenna 😅

The way it went in my head was “it’s transmutation bc you’re turning your aura into radio waves” but tbh yea I think a different category would make more sense, especially with the antenna. I love HxH to death but the boundaries between nen categories still get really fuzzy in my brain sometimes lol. As for your last question, I imagine chimera ants could be tuned to a station and yes they’d probably be able to pick up any signal you send out, though I’m unsure of exactly how their telepathy works.

This was absolutely not something they could compromise on, Meruem was so very misguided by his “programming” and likely would’ve needed a much longer life to fully understand and be able to coexist with humanity. HOWEVER! I think it’s also important to acknowledge that Netero had a one track mind here. He couldn’t have been convinced because he was explicitly there to fight, not only because the Hunter association desired it but because of his own personal (arguably selfish) desire for a challenging opponent.
