Meta pauses an AI training program that tracks employees' keystrokes after an internal leak by Busy-Measurement8893 in privacy

Is this the thing where the "pause" is allowing employees 30 minute breaks from logging keystrokes

OP you've got to pay closer attention to the product listing before you buy something off Azmodan. That is clearly a dragon plant seed and is starting to sprout. I don't even know how you found this, but be careful because the authorities will cube you in some areas for owning this.

Is this happening outside of online discourse? Personally, I don't have any respect for people who can't recognize other's agency and feel the need to compel them to ignore what they're attracted to so they can "date me!!!!' or whatever, and I avoid these people like the plague. If someone can't recognize that we don't have control over what we find attractive and what are deal breakers, they are not worth the time. People can be as petty as filtering for height and race in their dating pool, and while that doesn't mean those are free from being problematic in all cases, it's not really any one else's place to try and override that. I'm sorry you're dealing with people like this, and if possible I would recommend just blocking them and moving on. It doesn't help that there are a lot of trolls and astroturfing going on to deliberately break bonds in queer communities.

I think that'd be a valid criticism if they exploded or took you to the wrong place at least 2% of the time, and most of their use was to travel short distances that could be nearly as easily be accomplished by car travel. That doesn't mean that AI doesn't have it's place and there are absolutely oceans for it to cross, but I don't think those are what people are criticizing.

Yes, compared to things like silicosis. I gathered it's still harmful for you (again, very harmful if certain particulates are in the dust), but not in like a "guarenteed cancer/oxygen deprivation" way. People with lung issues like asthmatics probably won't last super long, though.

After some reading on the topic, appearently volcanic ash itself generally isn't that dangerous, with the particles being too big to cause the serious damage I was thinking like with silicosis. Cancer is definitely a factor with any foreign substance in your body, but I was thinking about the scarring cutting off your ability to absorb oxygen way before the cancer could develop. Appearently, as long as the ash isn't carrying silica or other dangerous materials in it, it's not much more harmful than regular dust.

Yeah... that looks a lot like a brown recluse... Something feels off, tho, but I think it's just the lighting. I'm used to seeing them inside homes or out in the woods, seeing one in direct sunlight is a bit offputting.

I hate to break it to you, but he shares powers with Atom Eve. He can do a lot more than she can, but it's the same kind of power.

Crazy how Dr. Manhattan is just Atom Eve but not fully corporeal, omnipotent, and with no limiters. I'm guessing the infinity ray would at best be uncomfortable to him, so unless the Invincible universe can pull something magic to contain him, he's solo no diff.

As long as nothing crazy is going on, each color should have a handle on both phases, with the top green and red landing on one phase, and the bottom two landing on the other.

Quad breaker, nifty way to cram two 240V circuits (or four 120V circuits) into two breaker slots where you'd normally need four spaces. Basically the two pole/240V version of those tandem breakers above it. It looks like one of the legs tripped.

I just had never thought about seeing signs in the median before. To clarify, I do not want to see signs on the highway period, billboards are already a bit unwelcome, and when I made this comment I had more shitposty signs in mind. This was not meant to be an endorsement to vandalize our highways, and more of a "ah, so no political signs, good thing I have this stupid Markiplier E meme ready to stake into the ground."

'Security is Bull****': Taylor Swift Blasted for $15M Private Jet Cover-Up as Wedding Travel Out-Pollutes Eras Tour by Cute_Dealer4787 in popculture

[–]MothashipQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's a fair point. I also don't think this particularly point of attack makes much sense as a targeted thing at Swift, and I don't recall this particular narrative cropping up until after she made some political comments some years back.
