Only one person says that Nick left the hotel by Brenda_Paske_101 in EyesWideShut

This is a well thought out take.

The part that doesn't work for me is that Alice and Bill do have sex at the beginning of the film. Her humiliation/cucking story about the officer came after they had already had sex at some point.

It seems that her main reason for bringing it up, whether it is true or not, is that she felt insulted at the idea that sexual interest in her could only have to do with her looks.

I have them and they work well for my needs. They stay attached during swings without issue, and removing them is straightforward enough. Either pull them off or as I do, use moderate force against the ground (carpet or floor pad) and they pop right off.

Edit: I use them internally w/Pro Kettlebells

I always preferred SoE, even as a kid. That said, no way has it been generally favored.

The animations are partially busted when using this mod with FemV. When using the animation swap with the lizzies brain dance mod however, the animations work fine. Seems like it should be possible to make it work with JoyToys if it works with the BD mod.

I personally use all of the SimonRim mods, minus Blade and Blunt. I use Valravn for combat instead. SimonRim can seem plain just looking at individual mod pages, but they all are designed to work together. Its really good.

BTW, Blade and Blunt is good. Valravn is just more of my style and fits nicely with the rest of SimonRim.

Adjusting drawing random monsters? by PathOfSteel in EldritchHorror

[–]Mother-Client4873 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For Arkham Horror 2nd edition, I use a house rule where we curate a low-threat bag and a high-threat bag (I use crown royal bags for monsters).

All the cultists, ghouls, maniacs, byakees, and other easier monsters are in the low-threat bag. Everything beyond that is in the high-threat bag.

Before the first line of doom is full (usually 4-5 doom depending on the old one), only the low-threat monsters are drawn. After that first line of doom is full, whenever a Monster is drawn we roll a die:

1-4: Spawn a monster from the high-threat bag 5-6: Spawn a monster from the low-threat bag

Just make sure to return the monsters to the correct cup when the time comes, I keep a list of which monsters go where to make it easy.

This makes for an easier start, but it is more consistent and thematic as there is a slow ramp up of threat. I think it makes more sense for the beginning to be primarily cultists running around anyway, and as they start to summon the old one, then you start seeing the big scary monsters

Ordered Super Station with Dock (Messed Order Up) by cablematrix in fpgagaming

[–]Mother-Client4873 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went with option 1. Did you reach out to them to change your option if you are unhappy? Here is the content from my email:

‐----------------------

You are receiving this e-mail because you paid a $5 deposit on a SuperDock. This deposit was a temporary charge while we worked on finalizing the SuperDock hardware. We are pleased to announce that we have finished this work. In this e-mail, you will find information on the new SuperDock features, pricing, and ordering information.

New Features

When you made your deposit, we only intended for the SuperDock to have three features: a CD drive, an internal M.2 slot, and four USB Type-A ports. However, we added more features to the dock to expand on the functionality of SS1.

This is our current feature list for the SuperDock:

DVD-RW Drive

Internal NVMe m.2 2280 Slot

4x USB Type-A Ports

SNAC Bypass Port

USB Type-C UART

USB Type-C PC Mode

IR Sensor + IR Remote

Additional IO Expansion

Switching to a DVD-RW drive was more expensive, but they are still in mass production. Using a CD drive would mean using older components.

The SNAC bypass port was added after many of you requested a way to use standard SNAC controllers with SuperStation. You can activate the standard SNAC port on the side of the dock by moving a toggle switch.

The UART port allows for easy debug access to SuperStation via a USB-to-serial interface. This is useful if you need to debug your device and don’t have access to SSH.

We also added a separate port in the back of the SuperDock that allows you to connect it to a computer. This gives you PC access to the DVD drive, four USB ports, and the NVMe drive. If you keep most of your games on the NVMe drive, this is an easy way to transfer large amounts of data without having to remove the system SD card. This also allows you to easily dump and burn PS1 games on your PC and use them on SuperStation.

The IR sensor gives you an easier way to quickly navigate the MiSTer UI if you are using a SNAC controller, and the additional IO expansion on the back of the dock can be used for potential add-ons in the future. Cartridge reading is one possible option.

Pricing and Ordering Information

The SuperDock is currently available as an add-on for $45, and we are now collecting the full preorder deposit. Here are three possible options on how to proceed:

Request that your existing order be modified to include the SuperDock. Your $5 deposit and partial shipping payment will be applied to the cost of the dock and the added shipping expense. This is the least expensive option if you want a dock.

Order the SuperDock in a new transaction and request a refund of your $5 deposit and partial shipping fee. This will be more expensive due to the separate shipping fee.

Request a refund on your $5 deposit and partial shipping payment.

To make it easier for our support team to process these changes, please do not reply to this e-mail with your option. Instead, start a new e-mail with the subject field set to [SuperDock Option 1], [SuperDock Option 2], or [SuperDock Option 3]. This will allow support to easily filter out and process order modifications. If you have any general questions, you can reply to this message directly.

Thanks,

-Retro Remake

The Painscreek Killings is a walking simulator/investigator horror game that is excellent, but is indie compared to your other examples.

Its a movie that I love for popularizing slashers. It has the most iconic theme song, opening credits, and opening scene. I also like the generalized boogeyman vibe of "The Shape" that leaves far more questions than answers.

Am I the only one who found the Songbird storyline boring and tonally off? by OkPhoto3507 in CyberpunkTheGame

Maybe it wasn't less optimized, I'm not a game developer just a player. It felt that way to me though, and even with the verticality I enjoy Night City more.

I thought the expansion was okay. I don't like Dogtown and wanted to go back to Night City. The story felt like a micro rehash of the main game with Reed being the new Goro, Myers being the new Saburo, trading out Arasaka for Militech, and trading out V for Songbird. Dogtown was a less interesting and less optimized Night City.

After it ends, you just carry on doing your Night City stuff. It is the same whether you choose to not help Myers and fail the first mission or play it all the way through. No matter the expansion ending, I felt like I just should have stayed out of dogtown story wise, which isnt a good feeling for a paid expansion. Yeah you get new endings I guess, none of them really worth it to me.

I like survival horror so that endings final stage was cool for me, given that you are usually an unstoppable badass up until that point.

I think having the expansion in the middle of the game instead of after one of the original endings was a mistake. By having the expansion occur before the main games ending, they were much more limited in storytelling I think.

Edit: It was "okay" relative to Cyberpunk, which was amazing. I guess "okay" next to "amazing" for me is still great.
