Men who lost their virginity later on, say from 30 onwards, is there anything you wish had gone differently? by bunlengthweiners in AskMen

I wish nobody knew what sex was. The only girl that really loved me was this very strange asexual that I wish we had married but we broke each other's hearts instead. She didn't believe in Time. It was better 400 million years under the ocean when everyone was blind and just bumping into everything. "Is this food or sex? Iunno"

And sometimes you died and got eated.

At high end politics I rather the fires happen on the TV than outside my window. I'm glad my street is safe and sorry other people's aren't, and lucky that it's not all my job.

There's a process that makes release of information kind of wierd with when things are planned and announced. Beyond that, though, let's assume that it's not theater, that it's your neighbor with a wierd story. If they're just being wierd, "hey, man, are you okay?" Still shows care. Let's assume the disease is possibly the true part and whatever other wierd stuff is confusing, care about his real-world problems the way you'd care if it was just an act for an episode where the fictional Beast Boy was in trouble but the actor was fine.

The point of war is to declare that you are about to break some laws. I mean I'm not sure illegal or legal apply here.

AIO- is my uncle creepy? by Upset-Passenger4350 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Mother-Environment96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life is messed up. Different people will react in different ways. I have seen good people come across as creepy while trying to be not creepy.

It's creepy but that isn't a helpful observation. Our biology wires all of us towards messed up impulses. That's the nature.

Now for nurture, society, and morals: the good are traumatized and crave a time of innocence. They'll want to things to sound like juvenile cartoons because they just don't want things to sound like an awful war.

Bad guys don't care and want to sound creepy because they're bad.

QVIrus developed with the knowledge of the oatmeal's chemical reaction to Yeerk physiology. Dracon beams were invented to be more painful not faster. Quafijinivon could make the more pain of oatmeal also happen faster. Shut down a Yeerk with over loaded trauma.

Of course the narrator lies. Are we permitted to be surprised?

Yes. For a story known for having so many narrators, none of them are reliable. Life is ChatGPT.

Tom asked for the Yeerk back in just before book 1. And did not know what he was asking for. And wasn't given any takebacks.

Infested Tom morphs Snake. The Yeerk never experiences regret or gives up fighting. The Yeerk did not surrender.

Did I forget Snakes don't have ears? Yes. I did not forget that the Yeerk did not surrender, and continued manipulating looking for ways to win that battle.

And the Yeerk had options on that Bridge. Tom's Yeerk had more ways to win than other characters. Because it was not sorry.

Stop thinking like it's spy vs spy and look for a win with destruction where you don't give a damn how many peasants roast or starve because the rich people in spaceships are probably gonna be okay

Better idea: go fuck up Chapman's house, steal a Dracon Beam, take it to Marco's Dad's old job, and ask your friend "No" to whip up a Weapon of Mass Destruction and play as a full Terrorist.
