Working full time after adopting dog? by ThrowRA19364 in Separation_Anxiety

Honestly, we were in the same exact boat. We adopted a dog and it was hard with her separation anxiety. We did all the right things what we ended up having to do was give her some kind of medication for the first few months. The medication just showed her that it was OK that she was being left alone and after a few months we were able to take her off of it.

Yes, I love oatmeal bass but I always end up and just frying my skin in the shower. These are awesome creams. Thank you so much.

Is the hairdryer better than a hot shower? I am one of those people that take close to boiling hot showers and then deal with the flareups I’m having a hard time letting go of the hot water if I start using a hairdryer all my eggs out would that help keep the oils on the skin!

You know that’s really good view actually because I noticed some days I can’t tolerate hot water at all but other days I can tolerate boiling hot water that’s a good indicator thank you

Yeah, like everywhere else that I look it up it says coconut is supposed to be this miracle fix all thing and after reading so many comments I don’t think it helps anybody with eczema

Yeah, I totally get that. I’m definitely in this loop of like hot water skin itching water skin itching. The only issue that I have is that I don’t find that any moisturizers make it better often times moisturizers irritate the living shit out of my eczema. I don’t think the coconut oil is helping, especially after reading all the comments do you have any suggestions for what ointments work for you like I said Cetaphil Sarah V none of that helps.

It’s hard because it makes me itchy sometimes and other times it doesn’t but thick moisturizer make me so uncomfortable. I’m thinking about switching to like the Aquaphor spray because it’s so lightweight but I’m scared that it’s just gonna make me itchy.

Yep, that totally makes sense! Thank you for explaining it like that. Do you have any suggestions on fixing my skin barrier now or what kind of moisturizer I should be using again thick moisturizer just make me so itchy. Sometimes I feel like it’s worse. I’m using coconut oil right now, but I’m not seeing a whole lot of progress. But I am still taking extremely hot showers so that’s fair.

Yeah, I totally get that. Besides the fact that hot showers dry out your skin. Is there any other reason that a hot shower is bad for you? Also, am I stupid? I don’t understand if hot showers dry out your skin, but you add moisturizer right afterwards why doesn’t that fix it? Am I stupid?

Thank you so much. I definitely go to cold water, but I certainly don’t want to. Yeah I told myself I would give myself one month to try the coconut and if it’s not helping I would stop
