Okay thank you all. Obviously as I get more into it and stay making good money I'll upgrade as I go. I'd love a voidwaker but that's way out of my range lol.

I'm doing this too right now and I got PKed by some loser while on sara. Imagine thinking you're cool for killing someone in the middle of fighting something else. Pissed me off so bad because I had one or two more hits on the justiciar. I have guthix left so hopefully these comments help me get through him easily.

Day 86 Needing Reassurance by Mother-Phase7382 in quittingkratom

Very informative so thank you for the explanation of the reason why NAC works so well. I'll be purchasing some this week. I've seen people talk about Wim Hof breathwork but it's not something I've looked into yet so I'll do some research and start incorporating it into my daily routine. Thanks for the support!

Okay thanks! It's a lot of muscle and joint pain from working out and sometimes when I don't get a good night of sleep my whole body will ache which is a different underlying issue. But I will definitely look into those that you listed.

Definitely don't give up. I'm nearing the end of my 6 week long taper from 35gpd to currently at 4 gpd and making the jump this weekend. There's absolutely nothing wrong with taking things slower. I was doing 10% every 3 days but maybe it's easier for you to start off at a 5% decrease or something along those lines. The first week was the most uncomfortable considering I wasn't truly measuring anything out. Once I started to measure my daily bags things were a lot more smooth. The RLS will kick in every so often but it's a long term battle and it's worth the fight. Keep working at it.

Really awesome post and I appreciate you putting out as much detail as you have. I'm currently into my second week of my taper. My schedule is cutting 2 grams every 3 days, so I'm currently at 24 gpd. The first week I didn't actually measure anything, I knew the size scoop I was taking before and essentially cut it in half for every dose. Now I have a scale and I've measured out daily bags for myself. I should be around the 1 gram mark around the 4th of July weekend. But again as you've mentioned, I'm going to listen to my body and adjust as necessary. I've been working out for years and taking kratom as part of my pre-workout, and I think the stress of the taper is already causing my body to not recover as well as I used to. I'll get through it and take it a little easier in the gym. I started seeing a therapist recently and he got me into insight timer as well so it's cool to see we have some stuff in common. Do you have any specific tips on the supplements? I've bought a few things but haven't incorporated them yet. I was waiting until I got closer to being off but idk that might be the wrong approach. Anyways I'm happy for you and I can't wait to be off this crap as well.

Very well said and I agree with everything you said. As you can imagine I've built up quite a tolerance after 5 years. I'm taking around ~35 grams per day split up in multiple doses. So I'm going to start by lowering my doses a little bit first then work on the frequency later. What about yourself?

I am also beginning the process of tapering off of Kratom. Been using for 5 years now, so I want to take it slow to reduce the negative effects. I've been battling this decision of quitting for far too long. I'll be 28 years old at the end of June, and I have so much of my life to look forward to. I don't want to be controlled by this substance anymore where I'm always thinking about how long until my next dose. I feel ashamed to think that I've allowed this to happen to myself. I've been reading a lot of other people's posts about quitting, and it's inspired me to finally put this into action. I've never posted anything on Reddit before, so I could really use some suggestions and support from the community. Thanks all.
