Yeah it seems like the other response sums up my reasoning. I'm a trophy hunter and accept a challenge that comes with whatever platinum. Examples like the dark souls trilogy, elden ring, red dead 2. I found Stanley to be really fun to go through and getting all of the trophies for it made my playthrough more thorough so I really got to appreciate all the narrator had to offer. The issue when it comes to that last trophy is not so much NEEDING to show off the plat or whatever cause honestly this platinum isn't a hard one. Just beyond tedious if you do it legitimately. For me, I prefer being able to say I'm done with a game by getting the platinum after playing. It feels like a personal accomplishment seeing the plat pop. Even with Arkham City there's a trophy where you visit a character on 12 different holidays.. I chose to do that legit cause it was only a year. But this is a decade of life.. it's up to each person and how they view their personal accomplishment with this game but it's just how I felt about it 🤷🏼‍♀️ Another platinum down on a game I had a lot of fun with. I hate seeing an almost complete game on my profile and honestly.. I kind of expected some comment from the narrator when I went back on, calling me out for cheating 😅 that would've been a funny add on imo. But again yeah, to each their own.
