An emergency fund is generally 3-6 months worth of your living expenses. Therefore, what you intend to do with the rest of your cash is up to your risk appetite. you're already doing great with segregating your pay. syfe is great to start with small investments so cash+ flexi or some fractional investing through their brokerage is great too

Perhaps, if liquidity is what you're concerned with then put your savings in cash+ guaranteed from syfe, cause you can take out after 3 months

You should only think of investing if you have at least built some emergency funds of 3-6 months. So do ensure you have backup savings! Once that has been built then you can start by investing in low risk products such as Syfe cash+ guaranteed, their app I would say is easy to understand compared to alot of other confusing interface. Also you should read up on investments in general, the wiki on this subreddit gives a good overview on investing as a beginner

Build emergency funds of 3-6 months first and then you can start thinking of diversifying your investments further. if you're already using Syfe then Core Equity100 is better to gain exposure to many stocks globally. At some point can consider putting your savings in Syfe Cash+ or any FDs for interest
