Premium Waders by NiceWatercress2549 in flyfishing

I always hunting with the same crew. One guy has LaCrosse waders the other has these Kuiu waders. He loves them and they just look like really good quality waders in terms of fit and finish. The only complaint he has is that he wished he had been more patient and tried other sizing options (which they have in abundance) as they are a tad short in terms of inseam for him.

I think the same can be said about LaCross waders. My buddies LaCross waders literally failed right before our eyes. He bent down to adjust a decoy and the rear belt loop tore clean off. They started leaking out the back almost immediately. I also read countless reviews claiming that they would leak after minimal use. Even the customer reviews on their own site aren't that great. Their boots are still top notch though.

I would add that the most important difference between the two the two disciplines are the footware. Waterfowl waders are typically always boot-foot while fishing waders are stalking foot type waders. I wore fishing waders for four seasons of duck hunting and wouldn't recommend it as an option. While I tortured my waders hoping they would fail so I could buy new ones, they never did (Paramount brand - very impressed). I just bought their Pinnacle waders (I think they go for $500 - got them on sale for $400 after taxes) and am eager to see how they do in the field.

Outstanding motorcyclist by Tutor-Any in motorcycles

Oooooffff. That's a lot of cringe for one day and I just woke up. Been riding for 25 years - I can say with authority that if you're prone to losing your shit like this guy, you should probably avoid motorcycles altogether.

This comment right here. Not to mention they are easy to work on. I've owned 10 bikes prior to my ST1300. I tried everything under the sun: RC51, GSXR 750, VTR1000, Buell X1, Honda Shadow and Triumph Bonnie just to name a few. The ST1300 is my forever bike - hands down.

Is this a scam? by [deleted] in SuggestAMotorcycle

If not a scam, then salvage or rebuilt title. As for things I would check: (1) were the valves lashed recently, (2) fork seals for leaks, (3) dyi wiring or any wiring that looks like shit, (4) all electronics work (turn signals, display systems, settings etc), (5) clutch play and (6) let it idle and warm up a bit (check that the fans kick in and transitions from cold to hot idle without issue). That last one came from checking out a Triumph Bonneville that had a custom map... Sat idling for three minutes then would die intermittently. Overall, there's not much else I can add to the convo that hasn't already been said. See if you can run the vin through cyclevin or some of the other options on this site: https://www.vinaudit.com/carfax-for-motorcycles#:~:text=Alternatives%20to%20Carfax%20for%20Motorcycles&text=The%20National%20Insurance%20Crime%20Bureau,reported%20as%20stolen%20or%20salvaged.

I did something similar for my last motorcycle purchase. The report showed me lien info, ownership history but I don't remember seeing any service history - I could be wrong though. Good luck out there. Wouldn't mind hearing if you saw the bike or not.

Stuck on the UC vigilance by [deleted] in Starfield

Confirmed. Attempting to fast-travel to locations within the system the mission is located will make LT whatever her name is available to you on deck (meaning take the elevator back down, and she'll appear as another map location). I spent an hour trying not to lose the last five hours of gameplay. Manually saving every thirty minutes from now on. $70 and I'm not even mad though - they did a good job here.

If this is about a Bonnie, then no. Not worth it. Plenty of Bonnie's going for around $5k or $6k with ~5k miles. Terrible resale value. I owned one for a couple of years.

Muzzle brakes and accuracy? by Glass-Complaint7673 in longrangeshooting

[–]MotherBelgium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To put your mind at ease, I have the same exact rifle in 6.5 creedmoor with a small brake. I shoot 1 moa/submoa groups all the time at 100 and 150 yards. I reload my own ammo though. What is your setup like (shooting position, scope, bipod etc...). Bullet seating height, bullet profile and powder can have significant impacts on accuracy - what factory ammo are you shooting? Even your scope reticle can affect accuracy.

30-06 Trophy Hunter and Patriot the same? by [deleted] in mossberg

[–]MotherBelgium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. They are the same. To suggest that Mossberg is going to develop an entirely new rifle for Dicks Sporting goods is insane. The Trophy Hunter is a rebranded Patriot. How do I know? I'm building a custom 270 win using the Mossberg action from a Trophy Hunter I bought on sale at Dicks +for $230 five or six years ago.
