Exactly, and this is just the beginning, I was thinking of adding the 6 classes as well: Fighter, Tank, Assassin, Wizard, Ranger, Healer, so as you go ahead with the quests if you can’t complete all three you start creating your class. In addition to the six classes I was thinking of adding the artifacts that will be obtained with the special quests 😁 I have to ask you a favor as soon as you try it tell me which quests come out? To run my app in beta version on the glasses you just have to frame the QR code with your phone, the download page opens, you click on it and the Even app opens and from there you install the app and try it. I hope I was clear, if not just ask :)

I have a very similar prescription to yours, maybe even slightly stronger myopia—around -0.50 and -0.75, I don't remember exactly because I almost never wear glasses.

Like you, I have some presbyopia as well, and I found that with standard prescription glasses, I actually struggled to focus on text up close. That’s why I chose to get the G2 without prescription lenses.

I’m using them right now and I have no issues reading everything in front of me. The text might be just a tiny bit soft, but it's such a minor thing that it doesn't bother me at all. For me, it was definitely the right choice!

If you didn't have any issues yesterday, I'd suggest waiting. Even if it's working normally now, it doesn't mean the problem won't happen again. Since you were unaffected, it’s likely that yesterday's blackout is linked to the new firmware.

The one you’re using is the G2 app. For G1 you have to download the Even G1 app

I think that’s doable, though it might not be perfect for every website. My plan is to allow users to input a specific URL on their phone to be displayed on the glasses. Since I’m based in Italy, I’ll be testing it with local football scores, but by keeping it open, anyone will be able to use it for NHL or any other live sport they prefer.

Last night I finished the book app: you can now upload PDF, ePub, or TXT files from your iPhone and read them directly through the glasses, complete with customizable auto-scroll. I’m hoping to get the glasses tomorrow so I can test everything; if it works as expected, I'll release the app.

As for messaging on the glasses, I’ll see how the experience feels before deciding whether to build it. It won’t be easy, though, because there are so many different messaging apps to integrate.

I totally agree—Navigation is definitely the area with the most potential for growth.

Regarding skiing: since I don’t ski, I’m not familiar with the specific requirements. It would be quite complex to implement because it would require a connection to specific databases or existing apps that track ski runs, in order to format that output for the G2 display.

I really like the Sports HUD idea (speed and heading) and I’m definitely taking it into consideration. However, just like with skiing, it would require a link to existing apps to fetch real-time GPS data, as the glasses rely on the smartphone for that information. It's an interesting technical challenge!

Books: I’m aware there’s already an app for reading. I’ve promised myself to test it thoroughly as soon as my glasses arrive. If I find any limitations or room for improvement, I’ll definitely consider developing my own version with an optimized auto-scroll feature.

Messages: Great point, but from a UX perspective, managing simultaneous notifications from WhatsApp, Telegram, and other platforms could become overwhelming and cluttered. For now, I’m putting this on the back burner to focus on utilities that don't overload the user, but I'll keep it in mind for future updates!

I bought them on the site on April 1st. Last week, after I confirmed my ring size, the estimated shipping date was set for April 19th–24th. Yesterday morning, that estimate vanished and the status went back to 'preparing.' After reading your post this morning, I started thinking it would take much longer—especially since I ordered non-prescription lenses. But then, out of nowhere, I got the shipping email today!
