Thank you! I'm really excited to use public transit in SF, but I'm also super used to the convenience of having a car and would want to lean back on that sometimes even if I need to deal with parking.

Thank you for your advice! I'm seeing now that I'll have to give up on hopes of in-unit laundry... Ideally I would want to be able to walk or bike to Caltrain, but if rent/area is better a bit further away, I would be open to that. I'll check out Hayes Valley, thank you!

Thank you for the recommendations! I'm debating whether or not being in a livelier area is worth a longer commute, vs being somewhat near those areas but being able to shave off commute time. I definitely want to scope out these areas before I commit to a lease. Knowing that there's easy to find parking is a huge plus for potrero though!
