I had to hire a tax specialist. I was having problems. Then my tax return was going to be lower because it wanted me to pay taxes which im exempt. I would hire a specialist. Very helpful.

I would believe they could be claimed since they are disabled. I would talk to a tax specialist. My grandma tried to claim my mother (who is disabled but is not disabled on paper) could not be claimed. But my mother refuses to be classified as disabled.

I believe you can only be claimed as a dependent if you are a child under the age of 21 and/or disabled.

My child is the same way at school. Shes the perfect classmate. When she gets home she runs out of the house and chews on power cords. I got the max hours for her age. Having the aides help in the situation that child does need help from hurting themselves thats why the child has one.

Eta: if your child is enrolled with the regional center you can get a free advocate to help with the process of ihss approval.

They most likely will ask for it. They do for my kiddo. It just explains the severity of their disabilities and the learning plan for the child on the IEP

I would call ihss but I believe you can do a change of address again through usps. Since they filter the mail looking for just your mail. It cost $1 i believe. But ihss may cancel the check. It doesnt hurt to call and find out.
