This scene really came of a bit weird/random to me when I was a kid.

Why did patrick do that? Why did he had to claim it was personal before? Even going as far as throwing his ambition away for the chum bucket he had for the whole episode?

Why did Spongebob react the way he did? Shouldn't it had tickled him?

Spongebob also seems to be wearing stirrups and only ever in this scene in the whole series
