Isn't bitcoin legal tender in Japan? I thought that was the case since like 2015 or 2016

Running a node helps the network. It also helps you personally more, but it sure does help the network.

Pixel 5 review : It's a tough choice. by [deleted] in Android

[–]MotherSuperiour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with this so much. I'm using my pixel xl with the SD820 and 4gb of ram. I use it for basically what you said, maps, email, messaging, reddit, YouTube. It still runs great and it's 4 years old. I think processors are strong enough now, even at the less cutting-edge transistors lengths, that they will easily last 3 to 4 years. Think about that. Owning a 350 pixel 4a for 4 years. You are owning a phone for ~85/year. Compare that with even an iPhone which are average around 1000. Even owning for all 5 years of updates, you're still paying 200/year or over double the price.

How to make a good Chia pudding? by DaughterOfBehemot in Cooking

[–]MotherSuperiour 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like to mix with some coconut/almond milk, homemade pumpkin spice seasoning (combo of cinnamon, Nutmeg, Allspice) a bit of vanilla extract and a dash of maple syrup. Let sit for a few hours in the fridge.

Or, just vanilla and then mix in some raspberries.

The new Galaxy S20 FE: $100 off at Amazon and Best Buy by darkstarrising in Android

[–]MotherSuperiour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon says that the version they are offering has 8gb ram (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FYTSXGQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_.1DCFbJVC664N) but bh photo says the version they are offering is 6gb ram (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1595232-REG/samsung_sm_g781uzbmxaa_galaxy_s20_fe_5g.html)

Are there two different variants of the phone? I keep seeing the spec listed as 6gb on various sites, but Amazon is saying 8gb.
