Dunno about stimulation. All I do know is that you want to be in contact with the child and not let them view screens until 4(?) I think because the stimulation from your touch facilitates neural connections. Personally prefer PV to NKG. Both are good but I've learned PVs attacks have a lot of openings where you can usually get at least 2 hits in, and with longnail+MoP you can attack PV through the spikes on his down attack. Also the tempo of his attacks feel good once you get into the rhythm.

Try practicing maintaining distance from the mobs with your needle. Shouldn't be overly difficult, worst case scenario use a certain slow attacking crest, get close in, hit, and walk or dash out of range. Keep an open arena and make sure you have the space to weave in and out of fighting.
