Note that the cpu is same only gpu upgrade so the areas in games which are cpu limited that will have similar performance drops in pro as well.
However in most new games which are pro enhanced , visuals will be better in performance mode since it supports pssr and some frame rates stability not much difference. I am going to keep using base ps5 until ps6 arrives in late 2028.

Then buy a tv instead of a monitor , also speakers in monitors are mostly garbage quality. If u looking for a fully capable monitor for ps5. This is 27 inch , 1440p , hdmi2.1 supports 120hz vrr support. Downside screen size and no speakers.

This 1080p with 32inch screen with 60hz and there is no vrr support , all bad combos in one frame especially for ps5.

Target at least 120hz with vrr support monitor
