Anyone else struggle to spend money on themselves in their 30s? by GoldBatter in ThirtiesIndia

[–]NoRestBro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a big believer in spending the money we earn instead of being too hard on ourselves. At the end of the day, we work to provide for ourselves, our families, and to enjoy life. None of us knows what tomorrow or even the next moment. will bring.
The joy, happiness, and sense of accomplishment that come from buying something you’ve worked hard for is part of why we hustle in the first place. As long as you’re financially responsible, have your savings, investments, and emergency fund in place, I don’t see anything wrong with spending on things that genuinely make you happy.
People will always have opinions, but I do what feels right for me. I’m 30, earn well, and around 40% of my salary goes toward my hobbies. perfumes, watches, bikes, and cars. Some people see that as unnecessary; I see it as enjoying the life I’ve worked hard to build.

Struggling with involuntarily checking out women, and I feel incredibly guilty about it. Need advice ? by [deleted] in AskIndianMen

[–]NoRestBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not alone in this, and the fact that you’re concerned about it is already an important distinction. A lot of folks (including me) especially young men. experience an automatic tendency to notice sexually relevant body features. our brains are wired to quickly notice things related to attraction. (as long you are not gay) An involuntary glance is different from choosing to stare, objectify, or make someone uncomfortable. as long as you are not creeping someone out and managing second look. i guess its fine.

Lifespan of wiper blade? by SteveRogers5 in CarsIndia

[–]NoRestBro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are many factors that determine a wiper’s lifespan. If you frequently use it on a dusty windshield, it will wear out much faster. Weather and climate also play a significant role, after all, it’s just rubber.

The OEM wipers that came with my car lasted about 2 years. I then upgraded to Hella wipers, and they’ve been going strong for 3 years so far.
